Not sure creating new dists will help... people try all chat because they want to catch the attention of those that have trade channel closed (or I believe that's the reason)
Although I'm not completely against the idea I'm not all in for it either.
What I find more annoying than the wts/wtb is the countless recruiters that spam the chat too if not more at some places... I've been wanting a new channel for guild recruiting only for some time.

Not everyone who is buying/selling is doing nothing else. I'd rather not be trying to organize a vanquish or HM mission team and not be able to see someone selling an item I may want/need. And even with Anet announcing that trade chat was for trading and use of local for it could warrant bans, people still use local. Having a seperate district would not prevent prople from still trading in other locations. I see more problems arising from this that it MAY fix.

It's an ok idea. I don't see how this would really help unless player were absolutely forced to use these districts. Which is easier said than accomplished. Our whole report system is majorly overdo for a overhaul.

You are correct
I just realised the same thing, I go to the quiet district's to checkout what is wtb/wts etc and then jump straight into district 1 to do exactly the same as everyone else
D1 Trade District, It just basically needs to be made official lol

Would be WAY better just to advance the players window with sections on WTS/WTB/ just an overall overhaul on the players window is all I'm saying. I must say, I'm quite discouraged to trade anything in the game the way that the DnD/offline setting and the players window is...at the moment...... Something needs to change. Doing that would be better than adding more districts to take up server resources IMO.
Also, there are of course people who still spam in local which will never be solved even with suspendng of accounts. I think people that spam should get an Error 7 rather than a message saying your message was suppressed.

I am basically just saying, "Create districts that are Titled, 'Trade District' etc."
D1 American does in fact, = Trade District, but what is so bad about going ahead and officially naming it that? Wouldn't that be a more concise way to go about things, and the last time I checked, that is always a good thing.

Not signed... Keep things the way it is. Report people for trading in local, and tell them so - or let people know in local chat that they can get suspended for trading in local. It won't clean out all the trading in local, but I can tell you from personal experience that most of it is moved to trade chat pretty quickly after that.
If you add a 'trade district', do you think people are really going to keep all their trading there? If trading in local is a problem now, wouldn't trading in non-trade districts be a problem as well?
Besides, when the Traveler changes, a new town gets a flood of traders that wasn't there before. I see absolutely no reason to add 'trade districts'.
